We have elevated our classic Working Effectively with Indigenous Peoples® to another level focusing on the RESPECT model and applying it specifically to the subject of negotiations with Indigenous Peoples.

At this training you will:

  • Learn the essential steps in how to negotiate with Indigenous Peoples
  • Explore common issues that may be barriers to achieving effective negotiation
  • Gain guidance on where to begin preparation for a negotiation
  • Learn how to set the tone for a negotiation
  • Learn how to create and review an agenda

Course length: 

  • Up to 3 hours (depending on knowledge mastery).
  • Progress will be saved and can be picked up at a later time (within 30 day window)

    Prerequisite:

    This is a 200 level training session building upon the material provided in our foundational Working Effectively with Indigenous Peoples® training.

    To ensure you get the most out of this session we highly recommend that you have completed either our Working Effectively with Indigenous Peoples® training or training with a similar agenda within the last year.

    The fee is fully refundable if the eTraining course has not been accessed by the learner. Upon accessing the eTraining course the fee is non-refundable.

    In-Person Training Courses
    Our fee is refundable, less a $100 fee if the registration is cancelled between 4 weeks and 2 weeks (20 and 11 business days) before the start of the training, or less a $200 fee if the registration is cancelled within 2 weeks (10 business days) of the training date. The registration can be transferred to another location or date - a fee of $100 will be applied.

    We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule training, refuse admission, or change speakers, location, or content.

    Books
    To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

    eBooks
    Downloadable software products including ebooks are not refundable.

    Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery is not refundable.

    Refunds (if applicable)
    Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
